Dead cows could affect election

Federated Farmers' dairy chairman Willy Leferink is advising farmers to keep hidden the carcasses of dead animals so as not to influence the coming election, according to this report.

Kinda sick, isn't it.

"He warned farmers not to leave stock knee deep in mud next to a highway, and to treat all stock with respect."

If tourists happen to be about, tip your hat to the cows?

So, is it fine to leave them knee deep in mud in paddocks that can't be seen from the road?
It's that perception matters more that reality thing- and those right wingers have the cheek to claim that Greens are the ones out of touch with the real world.

It's a pretty sad situation, CG, when a 'tidy up' is called for because of an up-coming election.
Reminds me of China.

I didn't know that, Joe - thanks and yes, that seems to be the rationale behind that and other (Rock-star economy!!) pre-election charades.
